Most motoring pundits would agree that the so called new mini introduced by BMW at the start of the Millennium is proving to be every bit as popular as the original classic which caused a revolution in modern day motoring in the early 60s. Both share a radical design, deliver a highly sensitive driving experience, are unique in their design and appearance and offer their owners a rewarding and often thrilling driving experience.
The original mini was more than a motoring phenomenon available to a few elitists, it became the car for every man and women. Indeed as they began to age, they became more affordable and accessible to motorists of all ages and even today they enjoy a huge following. The launch of the new shaped mini represented a huge technological step forward by BMW and like the classis it has now been around long enough that it has become far more affordable to a wider motoring public. And with many used models now available in the £5-6000 price range, it can be considered a realistic purchase especially as a second car or a family run about or indeed a first time buyers option, If there is a drawback to the news Mini it has been the cost of servicing given that owners felt there was little alternative that than to use the main BMW dealer.
All of that is set to change with the arrival of a new auto service centre at the Copthorne Motor Company on Copthorne Road in Crawley. Already well established as a service centre for Fords and on the sales side its huge range of nearly new Fords at the Ford Arena, the Copthorne Motor Company has added a further string to its now with the launch of the Auto service centre specifically designed to save new mini owners up to 50% off main dealer service rates without any compromise on quality or expertise. Whether the Mini is within its warranty period or outside, the new Auto service centre will ensure that the service is carried out according to the manufacturers demanding specifications but at a reduced cost.
“We have established an enviable reputation for the level of service we give to our customers” said Kevin Frost Managing Director of Copthorne Motoring Company. “We already cater for all makes and models as well as the needs of many lease companies, and will continue to do so, but this new initiative, backed by investment in specialised equipment and technical training, will enable us to target Mini owners as a whole.”
